Pinewood Derby Cutting Workshop Saturday, December 17, 2011 9:00 - 1:00 pm

Are you ready to start working on that Pinewood Derby car? Come on out and we’ll get you set up with your Official Kit! We have templates to trace or you can design your own! Cars will be judged not only on how fast they go but also Cub Scout Spirit, Most Realistic, Most Creative, and Best Design so be as creative as you want to be!! Parents and siblings are also invited to participate and extra cars can be purchased at the workshop for $4.00.

Pinewood Derby Test-n-Tune Saturday, January 14, 2012 10:00 - 1:00 pm

The Test-n-Tune workshop is where your car will be inspected using the official Pinewood Derby templates and scales. The PWD Chairmen will help you add weights or take them off as well as give you feedback on the overall condition of your vehicle. Bring sandpaper, graphite (no liquid!), and weights (pennies work wonders) with you. The practice track will be set up so you can se how your vehicle stacks up against the competition! Then, you’ll be ready to race!

Pinewood Derby Saturday, January 21, 2012 Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church 9:30 – 1:00 pm

Registration begins at 9:30am. Racing begins at 10:00am.
Cars must pass pre-race inspection before racing can begin.
