Pinewood Derby Cutting Workshop Saturday, December 18, 2011 10:00am – 2:00pm

Remember the block of wood in the box you received at the last Pack Meeting? Bring that with you to one of these workshops and when you leave you’ll have the beginnings of a Pinewood Derby Car! We have templates to trace or you can design your own! Our Pinewood Derby Chairmen will cut out your design and offer expert advice, too!

Pinewood Derby Test-n-Tune Saturday, January 8, 2011 12:00pm – 4:00pm

The Test-n-Tune Workshop is where your car will be inspected using the official Pinewood Derby templates and scale. The PWD Chairmen will help you add weights or take them off as well as give you feedback on the overall condition of your vehicle.

Bring sandpaper, graphite (if you have it), and weights (pennies work wonders) with you. The practice track will be set up so you can see how your vehicle stacks up to the competition!
